Justyn qualified as a lawyer in London in 1994 and moved to Singapore in 1999. Justyn became a partner of DLA Piper in 2004. Justyn Co-Chairs DLA Piper's Global Arbitration Group in and leads the Arbitration and Litigation Group in South East Asia. Justyn specialises in insurance and reinsurance, oil and gas, energy, construction and mining industry disputes. Justyn acts for major multi national clients in each of these industries in Asia, Europe and North America.
Justyn has conducted arbitrations under ICC, SIAC, UNCITRAL, LCIA, KLIAC and BANI Rules. Justyn has been named as a leading individual in arbitration and litigation in Singapore in the 2000 to 2007 editions of the Asia Pacific Legal 500 and is highly recommended in Chambers 2007.

Mr. Joe Luxford

About Your Workshop Leader
Joe Luxford is the Managing Director of Trident Project & Mining Services. Joe graduated in mining engineering from RMIT and joined the Zinc Corporation at Broken Hill in 1974. Since then, Joeís underground mining and project management experience around Australia includes shaft sinking, mine development and construction and coal and hard rock mining operations. He holds both metalliferous and colliery managerís certificates. Joe established Trident Project & Mining Services in association with Danny Gillespie and Doug Syme in 1999 and has provided contract, operational and project management services to a range of clients in Australia and internationally. Joe is also a graded arbitrator and mediator and in addition to conducting arbitrations & mediations, also assists contractors to prepare claims and mining companies to defend against them.
